Job Description Job Description The Nurse Lawyer is a team led by the only board-certified civil trial lawyer and registered nurse in the state of Florida. If you are the experienced scheduling assistant we are looking for, you’ll be self-motivated, positive, enthusiastic, a team player, hardworking, detailed-oriented, and efficient. You will have 2 years of experience as a scheduling assistant. You will be responsible for maintaining an accurate and up to date calendar for 5 attorneys. Some job responsibilities include but are not limited to: Communicating and coordinating with courts, opposing counsel, co-counsel, clients, expert witnesses, and medical providers Scheduling hearings, inspections, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, client meetings, and phone conferences Securing court reporters, videographers and interpreters when needed Calendaring attorneys' personal appointments and time off Drafting, filing, and saving notices for proceedings Drafting and following up on subpoenas for depositions Responding to high volume of emails promptly Experience with the court system, including but not limited to, electronic filing (e-filing), electronic e-service, and Microsoft Office is required Benefits include: - Medical benefits fully paid by the company: including health, dental, and vision - PTO - Life insurance - 401k with company contribution - Bonus opportunity on a quarterly basis - Flexible hours - Paid company events & vacations
