This opportunity seeks a Special Education Teacher with experience in exceptional student education (ESE) and self-contained classrooms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing Individualized Education Programs (IEP) and Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIP), ensuring tailored educational support for students with diverse learning needs. Key Qualifications: Experience working in ESE/self-contained classrooms is required. Proficient in the IEP and BIP process. Florida Educators Certificate for K-6 (Elementary) or K-12 (Middle/High School) is mandatory. Ability to maintain appropriate student behaviors while meeting curriculum goals. Location: Based in Clearwater, FL. Responsibilities: Deliver instruction aligned with established curriculum goals across various grade levels (Early Childhood, Elementary K-5, Middle School Grades 6-8, High School Grades 9-12). Implement and monitor IEP and BIP goals to support student progress. Manage classroom behaviors effectively to create a supportive learning environment. Collaborate with school staff and families to address student needs and progress. Contract Type: This is a contract position within a school setting.
