Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A dynamic
opportunity is available for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs)
specializing in pediatrics to support students in both elementary
and high school settings. Located in Lakeland, FL, these contract
positions offer flexible full-time and part-time opportunities
within educational environments committed to fostering student
communication development and academic success. Key Qualifications:
Active Florida Department of Health (DOH) SLP licensure is
required. American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
Certification is preferred. Experience working with pediatric
populations in school settings. Ability to design and implement
individualized treatment plans. Strong collaboration skills to work
effectively with educators, families, and other healthcare
professionals. Responsibilities include: Conducting speech and
language evaluations for students. Developing and delivering
evidence-based therapy tailored to individual student needs.
Monitoring student progress and adjusting treatment plans
accordingly. Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to
support students educational goals. Maintaining accurate
documentation and compliance with state and federal guidelines.
