Job Description:
Summary: Must work without direct supervision and is responsible
for performing maintenance, repair, replacement and troubleshooting
assignments on Zamboni ice resurfacing equipment. Refurbishing used
Zamboni machines. Some travel to perform work on machines will be
required. Occasional local weekend on call. Required to be
proficient in completing all required computer/paperwork needed to
perform all job requirements. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Must be able to
use computer to look up parts and order parts.Be able to learn and
use Service Fusion software for service reporting.Able to
troubleshoot and repair all major systems on ice resurfacers,
electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, L.P. systems, and engines.Proper
use of all special and diagnostic tools.Required to maintain
knowledge of applicable service/repair techniques for Zamboni
equipment.Provides assistance to less experienced technicians as
required.Follow vendor procedures for warranty and return policies
to include contact management.Follows all safety procedures in
performing work as well as company policies.Properly identify and
order all necessary replacement parts.Possess a current valid
driver's license with clean driving record.Operate company vehicles
in a clean, safe and secure manner following all required safety
rules for the job.Demonstrate exceptional customer service
skills.Driving is an essential function of this position and a
valid current driver's license must be maintained.Perform other
duties as required per management.Answer Phone calls related to
Zamboni parts and service.Perform shipping duties of Ice Resurfacer
parts and ice paints when working at company shop as needed.Job
Type: Full-timePay Range $18.00-$22.00 per hour depending on
experience$40.00 per day per diem for planned trips.Hotel and
vehicle expenses covered for trips.Expenses occurred while
conducting company business will be reimbursed.No company benefits
currently.
