Job Description:

We're looking for a Mechanical Engineer with strong experience in CAD and programming to join a growing team at a state-of-the-art facility near Sarasota, Florida. Our ideal person is passionate about the automotive industry, is experienced in managing machine operators, and is eager to work with a Figur G15, one of three that exists in the world.

Full-time Position
Salary: $100k-$120k

--- 3+ years of experience in CAD/CAM platform design and engineering
--- Proficient in using Rhino 3D and or Fusion 360 with skills in 3D modeling and CAM
--- Experience in 3D modeling, prototyping, and fabrication for various industries, including industrial design, architecture, and automotive design
--- Fluent in HAAS CNC machine, Omada Laser, 3D Printing, and Einstar 3D Scanner
--- Experience in complex surface design (nurbs, tspline surfaces, etc.)
--- Experience with mesh to nurbs tools for converting scanned meshes into surfaces
--- Proficient in interpreting and creating 2D and 3D drawings, schematics, and blueprints
--- Skilled in using CNC machines, 3D printers, and other fabrication tools to bring designs to life
--- Experienced in conducting quality control checks, ensuring designs meet specified tolerances and design requirements
--- Knowledgeable in programming and customizing CNC machines to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
--- Strong problem-solving skills, able to effectively communicate with team members, clients, and stakeholders
--- Experience managing machine operators is a plus
