Job Description Job Description CNC Multi-Axis Lathe Operator (Swiss / Index Machines) Location: Clearwater, FL Shift: 1st Shift — Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Pay Range: $21–$24/hr (Depending on experience) Company Overview We are a precision manufacturing facility in Clearwater, FL producing high-tolerance components for long-term customers. Position Summary This role operates CNC Multi-Axis Lathe equipment, including Swiss-style and Index machines, to produce precision parts. Experienced operators are strongly encouraged to apply, but we are also willing to train individuals who are mechanically inclined, dependable, and serious about learning. Key Responsibilities: Operate CNC Multi-Axis Lathe equipment (Swiss and Index platforms) Perform offsets, tool changes, and adjustments to maintain tolerances Read and interpret blueprints and part specifications Measure components using micrometers, calipers, and precision inspection tools Maintain clean machine area and follow safety procedures Produce quality-consistent work — accuracy over speed Qualifications: Previous experience operating CNC lathes preferred, especially multi-axis or Swiss-style OR strong mechanical aptitude with a willingness to learn Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools Reliable, detail-oriented, steady work approach — no shortcuts Strong work ethic and pride in workmanship Pay: $21–$24/hr, depending on experience and capability Additional growth potential for operators who show initiative and accuracy Schedule: Monday–Friday 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM If you want to grow in a high-skill trade and be part of a shop that values quality, we’d like to speak with you.
