• Manatee Memorial Hospital Job Description Responsibilities Director and oversees activities and provides innovative leadership in the area of Radiology/Imaging Services Product Lines for all MDC facilities. Assesses and determines the best course of action to recommend to Senior Leadership with the selection, procurement, and delivery of medical imaging staff, equipment, and related services. Ensures all MDC facility programs, policies and procedures comply with the Joint Commission and other regulatory and inspection agency requirements, guidelines, and stands. Develops annual goals and objectivies related to supporting the growth and development of Imaging Services product lines in response to present and future needs. Develops and manages annual operational and capital budget for all MDC facilities, under the guidance and approval of hospital administration. Praticpates in and corrdinates, as needed performance improvement initiatives. Practices Services Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent clinical/administrative experience. 3 - 5 years previous radiology supervisory experience required. Satisfactory completion of formal radiological training in an AMA approved school (ARRT) or certified by the Radiology Administration Commission (CRA) preferred. Knowledge of human resource management, program development, fiscal management skills, and familiarity with regulartory and accrediting agency standards preferred.
