business Director of Ecommerce - Bealls FUNCTION: This position
will lead the Ecommerce business including site experience,
merchandise assortments and operations across Bealls websites,
other selling channels, Vendor Dropship, and 3rd party
marketplaces. They will be responsible for directing the Ecommerce
strategy and creating highly engaging shopping experiences. They
will collaborate within the organization across IT, Logistics,
Store Operations, Planning, Merchandising and Marketing to drive a
guest-focused, unified commerce approach. This candidate should be
guest-focused, data-driven and a highly entrepreneurial
professional who will shape a future facing Ecommerce strategy that
is aligned across all channels from brick-and-mortar to digital.
SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES [Essential Functions]:
Strategic & Technical Identify and prioritize clear goals to
maximize growth & drive investments Align digital stories with
merchandising & marketing strategies Work cross-functionally across
teams in a collaborative manner to prioritize projects and obtain
buy-in from key stakeholders Partner with creative, supply chain,
customer service, marketing, and web development teams to ensure
seamless experiences Direct the budget and own the P&L
Ecommerce presenting periodic performance reports to management
Develop and manage channel forecasts and measure results against
targets Manage partner and vendor relationships Partner with
Merchant teams to build comprehensive brand plans, launch support
and major initiative intensifications Work closely with creative
and web merchandising teams to optimize the representation of the
brand online with a highly engaging layout, design, and CTAs Define
Ecommerce experience enhancements roadmap including strategy,
budget, execution, and maintenance Tactical & Production Grow
Vendor Dropship and Marketplace business Follow department workflow
to ensure all content is reviewed and approved by proper
stakeholders prior to going live Build and maintain relationships
based on thorough planning, timely and professional communication,
and intelligent problem-solving with internal partners Prioritize
business demands to meet deadlines Direct workflow for the team,
ensure effective execution and drive operational efficiency
Communication Skills Strong relationship-building skills Strong
written and verbal communication skills QUALIFICATIONS: Expertise
in Digital Commerce KPIs and experience leveraging KPIs to drive
decisions Hands-on experience using Ecommerce platforms and support
tools such as IBM WebSphere Commerce, EpiServer/Optimizely,
Amplience, Bloomreach, or similar Experience utilizing Digital and
Web analytics tools (ex: Google Analytics or similar) Experience
and understanding of the merchandising lifecycle and production
within an Ecommerce environment Exceptional problem-solving and
troubleshooting skills Extremely organized and highly collaborative
Thrives in an adaptive environment and responds well to time
critical requests Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast
paced and dynamic retail environment Bachelor's Degree in
Marketing, Business, Information Technology, or related discipline
Keen awareness of current industry trends, best practices, and
emerging experiences Prior work experience (5+ years) in Ecommerce
preferably within an organization that operates multiple websites
