As an Accounting Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP and SEC regulations. Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, including the 10K and 10Q filings, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and SEC requirements. Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure accurate and timely completion of audits.2. Restaurant Accounting: Oversee the accounting processes for multiple restaurant locations, ensuring proper recording of revenues, expenses, and inventory. Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard assets and mitigate risks.3. Team Management: Lead and develop a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure accurate and timely completion of accounting tasks. Foster a collaborative and positive work environment that encourages growth and professional development.4. Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop annual budgets and forecasts. Monitor actual performance against budgeted targets, identify variances, and provide insightful analysis to support decision-making processes.5. Compliance and Regulations: Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards, SEC regulations, and tax laws. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including sales tax, payroll tax, and corporate tax filings.6. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline and automate accounting processes, leveraging technology to improve efficiency and accuracy. Implement best practices and standardize procedures across all locations to enhance financial controls and reporting.Qualifications:1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA certification is required.2. Minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in the restaurant or hospitality industry.3. Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SEC financial reporting requirements. Experience with 10K and 10Q filings is essential.4. Previous experience managing a team of accountants and overseeing multi-site accounting operations is highly desired.5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide meaningful insights.6. Proficient in using accounting software and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.7. Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines with a high level of accuracy.8. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders.9. Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.10.
