The Nurse Extern performs a variety of delegated basic patient care services related to common nursing functions and activities of daily living under the supervision of the registered nurse (RN) in a complementary and assistive role. Skills:

• Reads and writes Basic English with the basic skills necessary to transcribe physicians orders
• Ability to listen, empathize and respond to patient, family, internal and external partners needs
• Basic computer skills
