ADMISSIONS RN - DaysResponsibilities Suncoast Behavioral Health
Center opened its doors in 2014 and provides the highest quality of
behavioral healthcare for patients in a safe, secure and nurturing
environment. Suncoast Behavioral Health Center is a 60-bed
free-standing psychiatric hospital. We offer diverse inpatient and
residential programs for children and adolescents. In a highly
specialized field of psychiatry, our goal is to promote cognitive,
social, physical and emotional development to provide individuals
with the knowledge and skills to help our patients succeed. The
Hospital is looking for an Admissions Registered Nurse - Days
($3,000 Sign On Bonus) who would be responsible for being able to
perform all aspects of Suncoast Behavioral Health Center intake and
admission process, including efficient and effective handling of
inquiry calls, knowledge of and communication with referral
sources; providing hospital and program information to individuals,
agencies, facilities, and professionals; making outside referrals,
when appropriate; assessing and triaging an individual's mental
health status; making patient safety and level of care
recommendations to the SBHC physician; identifying insurance
benefits, pre-certification of patient care; completing all
admission requirements; communicating patient safety concerns and
pertinent patient information to unit nursing staff and documenting

Kingdom. Qualifications Registered Nurse (RN) Job Requirements:
Current license to practice nursing in Florida (or eligible to
receive or renew). Current CPR or BLS certification. Preferred one
year of experience working in a psychiatric inpatient setting.
Medium demand, mentally. Requires extensive time sitting, writing,
and talking on telephone. Ability to assist in crisis intervention,
physical intervention with out of control patients. Must be able to
participate in and complete Handle With Care Training on an annual
