forward-thinking folks to join us SMI Imaging LLC is hiring a PET
NUC MED to administer radiopharmaceuticals and medications for
patient imaging and therapeutic procedures. This role will provide
images, data analysis, and patient information for diagnostic
interpretation or therapeutic procedures, and evaluate images to
determine the technical quality and calibration of instrumentation.
The PET NUC MED will communicate effectively with physicians,
patients, and the public, and establish good working relationships
with both internal and external customers. What You'll Do: Process
data and enhance digital images using advanced computer technology
Provide diagnostic aid to physicians by conducting organ or body
scans on patients Administer and record isotope dosage in
accordance to established departmental protocol Observe patient
during procedure and report any abnormal activity Familiar with
standard concepts, practices, and procedures Rely on experience and
judgment to plan and accomplish goals Perform a variety of tasks
while working under general supervision What We Need from You:
Typically requires a bachelor---s degree, at least 2 years of
experience in radiology, and registration with the Nuclear Medicine
Technology Certification Board and/or the American Registry of
Radiologic Technology Board Completion of a formal Radiologic
Technology training program in AMA approved school (required to be
licensed with the State of Florida) SimonMed Imaging requires a
valid ---Hands---On--- CPR certification Demonstrate proficiency in
the performance of job-related skills appropriate to customer
populations and departmental services, competencies in customer
service, and an understanding of SimonMed---s code of conduct and
culture Use and operate equipment and mechanical devices which
provide for a functional, effective, and safe environment Adhere to
policies, procedures, guidelines relative to departmental
operations; Participate in specific activities for the promotion of
self-growth or the enhancement of a positive image Apply the
standards of practice/performance in the work setting to achieve
positive outcomes Physical demands may require lifting and carrying
up to 40 pounds; pushing and pulling more than 40 pounds;
transporting patients in wheelchairs, sitting for prolonged periods
of time; frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching and
occasional balancing and stooping; good visual and auditory acuity
as well as good manual dexterity and the ability to be readily
understood Comfortable working in a stressful environment with
multiple deadlines and priorities May be exposed to biohazards and
chemicals as outlined in the MSDS Manual, and other
hazards/unpleasant working conditions Dress Attire: Ceil blue
