We want your knowledge and expertise!Job Summary and Qualifications Education Nursing Diploma or ASN; BSN preferred.Licensing/Certifications Current FL RN license required or appropriate compact licensure. If compact license held, active FL RN license required within 90 days of hire. Current BLS Certification from the American Red Cross (HCA chosen provider) OR American Heart Association required.Current ACLS certification preferred - required within 6 months of hire.National Board Certification (RN-BC) preferred - required within 6 months of hire or certification eligibility.Qualifications One year of previous experience in an acute care/hospital setting preferred, but not required.Lifting 50 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs.Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills. HCA Florida Blake Hospital is a 383 bed hospital. We are located in Bradenton, FL. We have a thirteen acre campus by the Gulf Coast beaches. We are the only state-designated Level II trauma center in Manatee, Sarasota and DeSoto Counties. We have received verification by the American College of Surgeons. Our services include 24-hour emergency care, open-heart surgery, burn care, cancer care, joint replacement and inpatient rehabilitation.
