Responsibilities

Assumes the responsibility and accountability for providing safe and competent direct/indirect nursing care for Medical /Surgical patients (focus on Orthopedics) within a 22 bed unit in accordance with Manatee Memorial Hospital policies, standards and philosophy. Ability to integrate nursing theory into practice using nursing process. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to problem-solve and work effectively with patients, families, staff and physicians. Ability to plan and organize work. Ability to work independently and in teams. Demonstrates Services Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned. This opportunity is a night shift full-time for Med Surg/Tele RN for WEEKENDS ONLY Schedule options: Every Friday/Saturday/Sunday or Saturday/Sunday/Monday Job Information:

• Salary: $50/hour flat rate
• $3/hour bedside differential for all bedside RN's
