T he Interventional Radiology Technologist reports to the Director
of Rediology. A ssists and performs interventional radiology
invasive, image-guided procedures including but not limited to
angioplasty, stenting, thrombolysis, and more using fluoroscopic or
other imaging equipment. Works at a technical level not requiring
constant supervision. Performs a variety of technical procedures
that requires independent judgement and ingenuity to apply
prescribed ionizing radiological diagnosis. Will participate in on
call duties including holidays and weekends as needed.
- Performs diagnostic procedures with skill and without requiring

- Demonstrates knowledge and ensures compliance with all
regulatory bodies, e.g. The Joint Commission and American College
of Radiology (ACR) standards and guidelines.
- Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills
and customer service skills required.
- Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School Graduate or equivalent required.
- Satisfactory completion of formal radiological training in an
AMA approved school with at least 2 years' experience.
- Registered by and in good standing with the ARRT AND The State
of Florida (CRT).
- BLS Required Advanced Imaging Experience (CT, MR, CV, VI)
- ACLS Required Registered Vascular Interventional Radiography
