Responsibilities

The Lead Pharmacy Technician under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy or designee, is responsible for maintaining standards set by the department, translating policies and procedures into the daily operations of the pharmacy. The Lead technician is responsible for the coordination of activities and assignments of the pharmacy technicians, is accountable for the quality and volume of work and is responsible for meeting all shift deadlines both scheduled and unscheduled. Is an example of Service Excellence and other duties as assigned.
