This individual assures that services are administered utilizing professional standards with a strong focus on quality, timely care, and exceptional customer service under the direction of the medical provider. Assist in the maintenance of an environment conducive to the health, training, and well-being of peers and patients. This individual will assist in the formulation of Nursing Department Policies and Procedures.As part of this role, you will:Responsible to provide leading, managing, in collaboration with the Office manager in coaching and guiding all associates assigned to the department and maintaining positive, effective communication with providers, supervisors, peers, and subordinatesMust be able to perform all staff nurse dutiesOversees the maintenance of all appropriate logs to the Office ManagerEnsures Provider's orders are directed to the various appropriate departmentsCompletes authorizations and referrals for patients promptlyKnowledgeable in triage and interventions regarding patient's ageKnowledgeable regarding all medical forms (PE, work excuses, proof of pregnancy, etc.)What you need to bring to this role:Licensed LPN in good standing with the Florida Board of Nursing requiredLicensed RN in good standing with the Florida Board of Nursing requiredMinimum of 2+ years of experience in professional nursing experience requiredCurrent BLS Certification through the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Safety and Health Institute RequiredCardio Department ONLY: ACLS Certification through the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Health and Safety Institute RequiredMicrosoft Office Products - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint proficiency preferred**MCR Health is a drug free workplace.
