Job Description Responsibilities
Work directly with physicians and other providers to insure quality
care and appropriate documentation for Surgical patients. Member of
the SCIP committee with active involvement in process improvement
measures. Performs functions delineated under surgical services
ARNP/Physician Assistant delineation of privileges. Provides
professional leadership and support to health team members through
the following: excellent verbal and written communication; problem
solve and work effectively with the entire health care team,
patients and families; sound planning and work organization;
working both independently and in teams. Demonstrates Service
Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned. This opportunity
is a PRN varied hours for the Operating Room with call. Job

- FL RN License
- Candidate must have at least 2 years of First Assist OR
experience to be considered
- BLS and ACLS Required.License or Registration Requirements: ·
Currency in CSFA certification (through NBSTSA) or SA-C
certification (through ABSA) must be maintained for employment.·
Maintains licensure as Surgical First Assistant where indicated by
State Law· Current American Heart Association BLS Training:
- Completion of a CAAHEP accredited or ABSA approved First
Assistant program that includes didactic and supervised clinical
practice. · The organized medical staff as part of its
credentialing and privileging process may require additional
training and experience requirements.· Continuing education
programs to maintain and enhance clinical competencies related to
perioperative or First Assisting practice.
