About Manatee Memorial Hospital (MMH):Manatee Memorial Hospital in
Bradenton, Florida, has served the citizens of Manatee, Sarasota

physicians, residents and allied health professionals, offers

environment. Services include cardiac care and cardiovascular
medicine, emergency care for all ages, surgery services - including
robotic-assisted surgery with the da Vinci - Surgical System, a
weight-loss program, orthopedic services, outpatient and inpatient
radiology and rehabilitation, respiratory care, sleep, oncology,
wound care and women's and children's services. Manatee Memorial
Hospital also offers a Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for
babies with special needs. -The Registered Nurse promotes and
provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance
with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. - Demonstrates
professional leadership and support to the healthcare team while
providing the foundation of all patient-centered nursing care.
Communicates with physicians and other nursing staff about patient
needs, administering IV's and medications to aid in patient health
and using medical equipment to monitor patient vital signs.
Responsible for the performance of diversified nursing functions in
emergency or other unpredictable situations requiring additional
nursing care. Responds to emergent situations as appropriate
throughout the institution. Proactively evaluates high risk
patients and responds to early warning systems (EWS) consults.
Manages patients requiring extensive, invasive interventions and
assists with emergent respiratory support. Works independently and
gives direction to other members of the health care team. -Job

Qualifications
- Graduation from Accredited School of Nursing
- Current RN licensure in Florida
- Current BLS through American Heart Association -
- Current ACLS through American Heart Association - -
- Current NIH Stroke Certification
- Preferred minimum of two (2) years current critical care
experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of growth and development and possess
ability to assess, interact, communicate, and care for age specific
patient population
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the
ability to function well under stress
- Strong medical-surgical, critical care and neuroscience
clinical expertise
- Working knowledge of commonly used computer applicationsEEO
