Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Physician
Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our team at our
Port Charlotte, Florida office. This is a highly important
position, and we are looking for a provider with a minimum of five
years of experience in urgent care or emergency medicine
(preferably emergency medicine). The role will also involve
supporting additional locations in West Bradenton, Sarasota, Lehigh
Acres, and Estero, FL. Key Responsibilities: - Provide high-quality
urgent care services to patients, including the diagnosis and
treatment of acute illnesses and injuries. - Perform a wide range
of duties, including but not limited to: - Workers' compensation
and occupational medicine - Urine drug screening and DOT physicals
- Weight loss management and care - Work closely with the medical
team to ensure patients receive comprehensive and appropriate care.
- Maintain patient records accurately and in a timely manner. -
Educate patients and their families about health conditions and
treatment plans. - Adhere to all practice guidelines, policies, and
regulatory requirements. Qualifications: - Minimum of 5 years of
experience in urgent care or emergency medicine (preferably
emergency medicine). - Current Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse
Practitioner (NP) certification. - Must hold a valid DEA
certification (this is a job requirement; the DEA certification
will not be covered by the employer). - DOT certification is a plus
but not required; training will be provided after successful
completion of your exam. - Strong clinical knowledge and the
ability to work autonomously and in a team environment. - Excellent
communication skills and the ability to provide patient-centered
care. Work Schedule: The position offers flexibility and can be
part-time to full-time depending on candidate preference and
availability. Providers are expected to work across various
locations as needed.
