Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 11/17/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel 10 hr shifts.0630-1500. Variable day off throughout the week. Call is required with a 30 min response time. The number of calls are variable. Call requirements meet dept needs. 2 YEARS ACUTE CARE O.R. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED - do not submit without • Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program – Required • BSN - Highly desired • PALS, BLS & ACLS – Required • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state/district - Required "The operating room nurse is responsible for scrubbing and/or circulating duties for operative procedures; department admissions to the operative suite. Adheres to standards and appropriate aseptic techniques. Consults and coordinates with team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate intraoperative patient care plans. Serves as a communication liaison to patients, families, and member of the operating team. Prepares the operating room for the patient and surgical procedure. Assembles equipment, supplies, and ensures equipment is functional, and supplies/implants are available.
