Job Description:
HCA Florida Brandon Hospital, a leader in healthcare services
located in Brandon, Florida, is seeking a dedicated RN Clinical
Nurse Coordinator for our Medical-Surgical unit. This vital role is
designed for an RN who brings a mix of compassion, clinical
expertise, and organizational skills to a high-performing
environment. The coordinator will oversee patient care, coordinate
the activities of the nursing staff, and ensure the highest
standards of safety and efficiency in our Med Surg unit. This
position requires a strong commitment to improving patient
outcomes, the ability to lead effectively, and a deep knowledge of
healthcare protocols. Coordinate nursing care activities in the Med
Surg unit to ensure compliance with healthcare protocols. Manage
staffing needs, scheduling, and patient assignments to optimize
patient outcomes. Monitor patient care for quality and adherence to
standards of nursing practice. Mentor and develop staff, providing
education and training to ensure up-to-date techniques and
practices. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to
optimize patient treatment plans. Implement nursing policies and
procedures that promote patient safety and satisfaction.
Participate in performance improvement initiatives to foster an
environment of efficiency and quality. Strong leadership and
organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems
Advanced knowledge of patient care and safety protocols Capability
to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a high-stress
environment Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the
state of Florida BLS/ACLS certification from the American Heart
Association Certification in Medical-Surgical Nursing (CMSRN)
