Key Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive nursing care to Stepdown patients, maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment Manage patient acuity with a nurse-to-patient ratio of approximately 4-6:1, based on patient needs Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams across sister campuses when floating is required Utilize Epic EMR for accurate documentation and patient care coordination Adhere to hospital policies and ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols Qualifications & Experience: Current Florida or Compact RN license with recent verification on the Nursys system Minimum of 2 years experience in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) settings (ED floating is not required) BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications must be valid and up to date Degree accreditation reflected on profile, or a minimum of 5 years nursing experience Flexibility to float within various locations and adaptability to changing patient care needs Ability to integrate smoothly into the unit culture and perform core staff duties Additional Information: Scrub colors: Galaxy Blue & White EMR system: Epic Strict documentation and demographic requirements will be verified prior to start Schedule and Return-to-Work requests must be submitted during application, no exceptions post-submission This contract nursing opportunity invites you to leverage your PCU expertise in a setting that values professionalism and responsiveness.
