Job Description:
Lee Health is actively seeking a dedicated RN to join our
Critical Care Transport Team at Golisano Children's Hospital. As a
vital part of our healthcare system, this role is tailored for a
highly skilled nurse who facilitates optimal care during
inter-facility and intra-facility patient transports. Focused on
pediatric care, the RN will work in dynamic settings that require
critical thinking, rapid assessment, and a compassionate approach.
With the support of state-of-the-art medical equipment and an
integrated healthcare team, the successful candidate will deliver
lifesaving treatments in accordance with highest standards of
practice. Assess patient condition and administer appropriate
medical treatment during transport. Coordinate with healthcare
professionals to ensure continuity of care. Operate and monitor
medical equipment as necessary. Document patient care activities
and maintain accurate records. Participate in educational and
training opportunities to further expand specialty expertise.
Proficiency in pediatric advanced life support Strong ability to
work under pressure in emergency situations Excellent teamwork and
communication skills Capability to operate complex medical
machinery Medical Insurance Life Insurance Registered Nurse (RN)
with current licensure Certified in Pediatric Advanced Life Support
(PALS) Transport Nurse Advanced Trauma Course (TNATC) or equivalent
preferred
