Summary and Qualifications As a Burn Unit Registered Nurse (RN),
you’ll play a vital role in the healing journey of patients with a
variety of burn injuries. With stays ranging from days to weeks,
you’ll build meaningful relationships and witness powerful healing
journeys. Partnering with a skilled team that’s deeply committed to
this unique population, you’ll restore comfort and healing - caring
for patients like family and improving lives every day. Your
responsibilities will include: - Assessing patient condition and
environment to recognize changes, manage pain, and ensure safety
throughout their care journey - Performing expert procedures and
medication administration – including pain relief and fluid therapy
– delivering advanced wound care and dressing changes, monitoring
responses and acting swiftly to promote healing and comfort -
Educating and supporting patients and families with compassion and
clarity to confidently navigate recovery and make informed
decisions - Collaborating with a dedicated multidisciplinary team
to provide seamless, patient-centered care tailored to each
individual’s needs What qualifications you will need: - Must be
licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state
regulations or appropriate compact licensure. If compact license
held, active FL RN license required within 60 days of hire. -
Advanced Burn Life Spt must be obtained within 1 year of employment
start date - Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 6
months of employment start date - Basic Cardiac Life Support must
be obtained within 30 days of employment start date - Nonviolent
Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 6 months of employment
start date - Associate Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma Benefits
