BENEFITS: - Based at Aston Gardens of Pelican Marsh - Generous Holiday/PTO program with 11 paid holidays including birthday and floating holiday - Phone stipend and paid mileage - Provide services in our Independent and Assisted Living Communities with less driving - Great Competitive Rates - Flexible Schedule - 401k with company match - Free CEUs - Growth Opportunities RESPONSIBILITIES: - Assist the PT in planning and implementing patient care and therapy services in both Home Health and Outpatient settings - Assist patients with exercises, mobility, and activities of daily living (ADLs) as directed by the PT - Document patient progress and communicate with the PT regarding changes in patient condition - Educate patients and their families on proper techniques and exercises for continued therapy at home - Assist with equipment set up, maintenance, and inventory - Provide clear and concise communication with the PT, other healthcare team members, and patients and their families REQUIREMENTS: - Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited institution - Current Florida PTA license - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team
