We are seeking a part-time team member to primarily oversee billing submission/claims management as well as provide support in daily tasks to further enhance our exemplary patient experience. Your role: Primary Duties include but are not limited to: Insurance verification Educate patients on insurance benefits, financial responsibilities and office policies Vision and Medical Claim submission Interaction with third-party clearinghouse Familiarity and understanding of remittance notices/explanation of benefits Posting payments/Claim Reconciliation Troubleshooting denied/rejected claims for resubmission Electronic Health Records Cross-training may vary based on level of experience/efficiency. Example duties may include: Optometric Technician tasks including pretesting and ancillary testing Reception duties including answering phone calls, scheduling patients and collecting patient payment Your background: Have experience/knowledge of medical/vision billing and coding Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills Are self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, comfortable multi-tasking and enjoy working directly with patients/coworkers Are able to efficiently work with computers and tablets Value high-quality vision and eye health care Why Should You Apply?
