Our Intensive Care Unit
(ICU/CCU) is a 25-bed unit committed to fulfilling our hospital's mission
statement "to provide exceptional care to every patient, every time." Our
nurses specialize in delivering care to patients in our intensive care unit.
Their duties include evaluating the patient's conditions, administering
treatment, and providing constant support during recovery.

Qualifications

Requirements:

-- Nursing Diploma or ASN required, BSN preferred

-- Current Florida State RN license or compact state RN license

-- Current BLS through American Heart Association required

-- Current ACLS preferred; required within 6 months of hire

-- Minimum one year RN experience preferred but not required

-- Customer service abilities including effective listening skills. Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment

-- Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 pounds
