Job Description We are seeking a Cashier / Truck Scale Operator to become an integral part of our team. Responsibilities: Welcome and identify customer needs Explain products and services to customers Enter and process customer information Investigate and resolve customer complaints Prior truck scale experience a plus but not required Ability to run cash register Ability to answer phones / questions Willing to train right individual Qualifications: Sit/Stand 8 hours a day Previous experience in sales, customer service, cashiering, or other related fields a plus Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Ability to build rapport with customers Ability to multi-task Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong people skills PC skills (MS Windows required) Bi-Lingual a plus Shift is M-F 8am to 5pm and Sat 8am - 2pm with rotating days off Company Description We are an all-lines metal recycling center based in Manatee County. We purchase all ferrous and non-ferrous metals from commercial and residential clients. We are rapidly becoming Manatee County's largest metal recycler shipping over 150,000 of material daily. Our facility is clean and offers a family style environment where our staff and clients appreciate and respect one another.
