Job Description:
"Hi Hospitality Group" is Hiring an Executive Chef for Kojo
Restaurant.Our restaurant portfolio will be expanding, and we are
looking to add a passionate, hardworking and motivated chef to lead
our culinary team. Ideal candidates will be humble, ego-free, and
have previous experience in high volume restaurants. For this
position, a background in Asian cuisine is required.Job
Description:Development and Training:-Develop strategies to
constantly evolve and improve our culinary operations-Manage the
quality and consistency of our kitchen administrative tools (recipe
books, inventory, prep lists), that are used to train kitchen team
members-Collaborate with key operations team members to ensure the
correct training materials are always in place and used as
intended-Solicit and incorporate feedback from guest reviews,
management, & key kitchen team members to constantly improve our
training materials, tools, product and consistency-Collaborate with
our culinary director to optimize recipes, yields, and portion
sizes to maintain consistency across recipe management and ordering
systemsQuality Assurance:- Provide culinary guidance, leadership
and support to all restaurant staff. -Maintain cleanliness at all
times and A Grade from Health Department.-Conduct daily
quality-control line checks to ensure adherence to established
recipes and standards.- Address any issues related to food quality,
taste, or presentation promptly, and work with the team to take
appropriate action.Menu Development:-Provide vision for ongoing
culinary development. -Develop culinary initiatives that align with
business goals, market trends and customer preferences.-Collaborate
with Culinary Director to introduce new items to the menu.-Ensure
recipe adherence, and execution of existing training materials,
tools, and kitchen operations.-Research and stay current with
supplier opportunities to reduce costs and improve quality of
ingredients.WHO YOU AREThe ideal candidate is extremely
detail-oriented, has a deep understanding for the complexities of
ensuring consistency in a high volume setting, is comfortable
working in a fast-changing environment, and has an unquenchable
thirst to create world-class experiences for our guests. -Highly
organized and able to juggle multiple tasks with changing
priorities-5+ years experience working as an executive chef-Deep
understanding for the inner-workings of a fast-paced kitchen
environment and the necessary controls to ensure quality and
consistency-Ability to collaborate with other departments,
proactively identify problems/opportunities, and take ownership of
deadlines and deliverables-Passion for Asian cuisine, and working
with like-minded ambitious people to build something
great!Compensation is based on experience. This is an exciting
opportunity for those looking to join a dynamic, growing restaurant
