Job Description:
We are seeking an admirable Chef de Cuisine. To lead, inspire
and drive our vision in the creation of culinary masterpieces for
our Contemporary Boutique Restaurant. The Chef de Cuisine will be
responsible for designing the menu in collaboration with
management, optimizing productivity while maintaining consistent
food costs and quality. To ensure success; top candidates are
creative individuals with a passion for great food and well versed
with French and Mediterranean Cuisine. Responsibilities: Ensuring
all dishes meet the highest standards. Planning the menu and
designing the plating presentation. Stocktaking ingredients and
equipment while coordinating orders as needed. Enforcing best
practices for safety and sanitation standards. Creating new recipes
to regularly update/refresh the menu upon Season and needs. Keeping
track of new trends in the industry. Incorporating feedback from
restaurant management, staff and patrons to make enhancements or
resolve issues. Chef de Cuisine Requirements: Qualification from a
Culinary School; preferred or equivalent experience. 5+years of
experience in a similar position In-depth knowledge of food
principles and best practices. French Mediterranean. Passion for
creating incredible food which delights and attracts guests.
Excellent communication skills and leadership qualities. Creative,
Innovative Thinking. Exceptional standards for cleanliness, health
and safety. Experience managing inventories and stocktaking.
Employment Type: Full Time Years Experience: 3 - 5 years Salary:
$48,000 - $50,000 Annual Bonus/Commission: No
