Job Description:
Make a difference daily! A Residential Treatment Facility
seeking full-time team player for the dietary program. Rate of pay
$21 per hour. Benefits include 3 weeks PTO (prorated); 10 paid

more! This is a mission driven organization serving individuals
with mental health and substance use diagnoses. Duties and
responsibilities Report to the Kitchen Manger on all communications
involving the kitchen. Prep, cook, serve, and clean after each
meal, which includes three meals a day and snacks. Follow menu and
recipes to prepare foods. Safely use all kitchen appliances and
utensils. Maintain serving times. Completes advance food
preparation of the week’s menu as directed by the Kitchen Manager.
Clean the dining room after each meal. Follow the mid-shift
cleaning schedule each Wednesday: clean drawer and under serving
line, freezers and refrigerators alternate biweekly, pull out catch
tray under six burner stove and clean backsplash, clean three
compartment sink, spice shelf trays replaced and cleaned, and clean
rugs. Complete intermittent cleaning as directed/needed: celling
fans, walls behind food prep areas and dishwashing area,
windowsills and baseboards, shelving, air conditioner vents in
kitchen, backsplash behind stoves. Maintain compliance with all
state regulations and licensure standards at all times. Responsible
for reporting any unsafe condition or equipment problems
immediately upon discovery to the Kitchen Manager. If able to
remedy the unsafe condition, should do so immediately. Observe and
report any resident issues or concerns to the Kitchen Manager.
Maintain confidentiality of all resident information. Required to
check company email once a day and respond as appropriate. Interact
professionally with residents, co-workers, and vendors. Must be
able to maintain tact and professionalism. Other duties and
responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications/Education Requirements
No minimum education required; high school diploma preferred.
Culinary training/degree preferred. ServSafe Certification
preferred. At least one-year experience in a restaurant or
institutional dietary setting. At least 18 years of age. At least
one-year experience working with people with mental health
diagnoses preferred. Must demonstrate basic verbal and written
skills. Must demonstrate basic computer skills. Must be able to
work with diverse groups and individuals. Must successfully
complete all criminal background screens and remain eligible. Good
Moral Character. Must pass a drug screen and follow drug-free
workplace policy. Must maintain trainings as required. Must have a
negative TB screening within 30 days of hire and annually
thereafter. Must obtain a free from communicable disease statement
within 30 days of hire
