Job Description:

Business Analyst/Data Analyst/Data Engineer/Developer

VB 50% (VB. NET, VB script, VBA)

SQL 50% (TSQL, SSIS, SSRS, Power BI on horizon)

Supporting Merchandising, Reporting, Supply chain, Store systems, Logistics teams

Read standard code, follow patterns, discover bugs, troubleshoot issues in the code

Extensive interaction with merchandising executives and buyers

Extensive interaction with the I. S. development team.

Create and modify MS Office 2010 based merchandise reporting solutions for the entire organization

Design and build complex tools that help streamline the business and make merchandise reporting and analysis more efficient

Provide interactive user access to the corporate data repositories within MS Office tools

Create VB/. Net based automation of report creation and distribution

Collaborate on the design of data storage within the corporate data repository as it pertains to merchandise reporting

Conduct MS Office training sessions for corporate reporting Retail experience
Bachelors Degree in Business, Finance or IT is required

Experience programming in Visual Basic for Applications

Basic understanding of . Net programming

Strong understanding of dimensional data modeling

Experience with SQL creation and modification skills

Expert level proficiency in MS Excel 2010 and MS Access 2010

Strong understanding of client/server based data retrieval/manipulation

Familiarity with SQL Server and DB2

Strong communication skills
