Location: Based out of Manatee County Administration Building,
1112 Manatee Ave W, Bradenton, FL 34205
Schedule: Monday - Friday hours to be determined and not to
exceed 25 per week.

The Energy and Sustainability Team is preparing to activate
several important projects for the Department that require
successful completion by the end of the 2021 calendar year. These
projects include facilitating the "Platinum" recertification
process for the County's FGBC certification, tracking and inventory
of all the County-owned electric and water meters, and input and
tracking the County's energy and water consumption data for all
County-owned facilities. These are all structured projects, with
clear timelines and outlined results. We believe an intern position
would be beneficial to the team, and ultimately successful in
completing these projects for Property Management. Position duties
will include organizing prior sustainability initiatives, writing
reports, communicating with different departments, data research
and input and spreadsheet development.
This is a part time, temporary position that may not exceed
twelve (12) months.
Hours of work: May not exceed average of 25 hours worked per
week in one year.
Pursuing Bachelor's degree desired. Applicants from all fields,
