Internal Medicine Residency Training Program begin in July of 2016,

Rehabilitation Unit provides superior inpatient rehabilitative
care in the setting of Blake Medical Center. This unit is the
area’s first and only comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation
center. The Inpatient Rehab Unit hosts a variety of patient
diagnoses including: Neurosurgery, Neurological Disorders
(including Parkinson’s and Multiple Sclerosis) , Stroke, Traumatic
Brain Injury, Multiple Trauma, Burn, Fractures, Limb amputations,
Orthopedics, and medically complex conditions. This elite unit is
ranked in the top 10% nationwide for quality of service and
recognized by Newsweek Magazine as the #3 Inpatient Rehab Unit in
Florida (and #27 in the

· Nursing Diploma or ASN required, BSN
preferred
· Current Florida State RN license or
compact state RN license
· Current BLS Certification from the American Red Cross (HCA chosen
provider) OR American Heart Association is
required
· Current ACLS preferred; required within 6
months of hire
· Minimum one year RN experience
preferred but not required - specialty training is available in this
unit!
· Customer service abilities including
effective listening skills. Critical thinking skills,
decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision
in a fast paced environment
· Ability to perform work that requires
frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling,
moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to
50 pounds
