Our 3S
is a 42 Medical Surgical Unit. Our Medical Surgical nurses provide
care for patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment,
planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. The
Med/Surge RN collaborates with other professional disciplines to
ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired
patient outcomes.

· Nursing
Diploma or ASN required, BSN
preferred
· Current
Florida State RN license or compact state RN
license
· Current
BLS Certification from the
American Red Cross (HCA chosen provider) OR American Heart
Association is
required
· Current
ACLS preferred; required within 6 months of
hire
· Minimum one year RN experience preferred but not
required
· Customer
service abilities including effective listening
skills. Critical
thinking skills, decisive judgment and the
ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced
environment
· Ability to perform work that requires frequent
standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of
patients and/or equipment up to 50 pounds
