Lead Adolescent Therapist Opportunity at an award wining
residential facility. Palm Shores Behavioral Health Center provides
quality mental health care and education services for adolescents,
ages 11-17 who are experiencing behavioral, emotional, educational,
family and social challenges. The dedicated professionals at Palm
Shores Behavioral Health Center provide quality mental health
treatment for children. The program establishes healthy behaviors
and prepares children to transition back home. We are a proud
provider of the Patriot Support Program. We are located in Manatee

Adolescent Therapist is a key member of the Palm Shores Treatment
Team who will be responsible for conducting therapeutic services
for patients. The Therapist provides counseling sessions for
families, individuals, and groups. Therapists are responsible for
interviewing and developing the psychological history, assessing
the therapeutic needs of the individual and family, developing
appropriate treatment objectives and monthly treatment summaries.
Therapists act as the patients' and families' primary contact
during the patient's stay at the facility, as well as their
advocate with the treatment team. Job Skills/Knowledge:
Qualifications
Requirements License/Certification: Current license from the State
of Florida, such as LCSW, LMFT, LMHC or Registered Intern in the
aforementioned fields preferred.One (1) year direct clinical
experience specific to family, individual and group therapy with
children and/or adolescents. Education: Master's Degree from an
accredited college or university in social work, mental health
