Responsibilities
Charge Nurse on Orthopedics assumes shift responsibility and
accountability for planning and providing direct/indirect nursing
care to patients, families, and appropriate others under the direct
supervision of the Nursing Director of Orthopedics. Coordinates
multi-disciplinary team members, directs and educates other nursing
personnel to provide and facilitate optimal health care outcomes in
accordance with MMH policies and procedures, standards and
philosophy. Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times. Other
duties as assigned.
Ability to integrate nursing theory
into practice using nursing process.Excellent verbal and written
communication skills.Ability to problem-solve and work effectively
with patients, families, staff and physicians.Ability to plan and
organize work.Ability to work independently and in teams.Ability to
plan, organize and direct the activities of others.About Manatee

Qualifications
Graduate from accredited school of nursingCurrent FL RN license in
good standingMinimum of three year acute care experience in
