Let us show you all the ways we can Empower Your Purpose.To learn more about Rehmann, visit: https://www.rehmann.com/careers/We are seeking a talented Accounting Specialist to join our Accounting Solutions team onsite in Rehmann's Bonita Springs office.How You Will Make an Impact:Reconciling client bank account statementsPreparing journal entriesUpdating depreciation and amortization schedulesPreparing compiled financial statementsPreparing payroll tax quarterly returns, annual employee W2's and payee 1099'sProviding payroll tax support to clientsMaintaining clients' accounting software and filesBuilding relationships internally to foster a culture of teamwork and collaborationProviding a "wow" experience to every clientContributing to the success of our clients' organizationsIdentifying opportunities to introduce other Rehmann specialists to existing clientsYour Desired Skills, Values & Experiences:Bachelor's degree not required, but a plusInterest in CPA certification not required, but a plus2-5 years in handling the accounting duties described aboveTax return preparation, a plusProficiency with MS Word and ExcelAbility to travel onsite to client locationsAbility to complete and enter non-routine and complex journal entries without assistanceProficiency with accounting software programs. Accounting CS or Quickbooks experience, a plus.Proficiency with payroll software programsAbility to design a basic chart of accounts fitting the needs of a clientAbility to read a financial statement and identify issues to discuss with a clientOutstanding client service and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environmentDesire to develop unique business solutions in a team-based environmentCommitment to continuous learning and developmentUnwavering integrity in all situationsWe Put People First in all that we do.
