Job SummarySpherion is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Shipping and Receiving Associate. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments, coordinating with carriers, and ensuring accurate records of inventory and shipments.Key Responsibilities

• Manage incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring timely and accurate processing
• Coordinate with carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries, maintaining effective communication
• Inspect and verify contents of packages, identifying and resolving any discrepancies
• Maintain accurate records of inventory and shipments, utilizing data to inform logistics decisions
• Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding shipping needs, fostering strong relationships
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, promoting a safe working environmentRequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will possess excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong communication abilities. Experience in logistics or a related field is preferred, but not required.
