Our Progressive Care Unit is a 42 bed unit. Our PCU nurses provide care for patients requiring close monitoring and frequent assessment, but who aren't unstable enough to need ICU care. The PCU nurses monitor cardiac and other critical vital signs and detect any changes, thereby enabling intervention of life-threatening or emergency situations. We would love to talk to you about this fantastic opportunity. - Nursing Diploma or ASN required, BSN preferred - Current Florida State RN license or compact state RN license - Current BLS through American Heart Association required - Current ACLS preferred; required within 6 months of hire - Minimum one year RN experience preferred but not required - Customer service abilities including effective listening skills.
